A total of EUR 1 m for waste management in Krusevac and Vranje - Contract on donation signed with German Development Bank KfW

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of construction, transport and infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic signed on Saturday, April 16, a financial agreement with the German development bank KfW on the donation of EUR 1 m for a feasibility study and preparation of projects for solid waste management in Krusevac and Vranje.

In the presence of the minister a contract of EUR 15 m between PUC Vodovod Krusevac and Aktor, a company for design and construction of a wastewater treatment plant in Krusevac was signed.

Within the "Water supply and waste waters" project, Germany, KfW and Serbia provided for Krusevac EUR 24 m for sewerage and waste water.

Out of that amount, today, a contract of EUR 15 m was signed while the remaining EUR 9 m will be used for the construction of sewerage collectors and networks in Krusevac.

When it comes to grant for a feasibility study and preparation of solid waste management projects in Krusevac and Vranje, it is a grant of EUR 1 m and preparation of the project is done for future investment of EUR 25 m - the construction of facilities for utility waste management.
