Government provides RSD 2,5 m in incentives to Indjija-based Plamen - In 2016, company hires 50 new employees
Minister of economy Zeljko Sertic visited on Tuesday(March 22, 2016 ) plant for the production of electronic equipment and accessories for low and medium voltage, Indjija-based Plame which used governmental incentives of of app. RSD 2.5 m to purchase new equipment, increase competitiveness and headcount.
The company, he said, used incentives that the government provides for purchase of equipment totaling 25% and this kind of a program will be available this year as well. According to him, purchase of equipment cost about 11 m and 25 % of it or 2.5 m will be provided by the state .
Plamen used incentives, he said and thanks that, it hired only this year 50 new workers, so now it has a total of 170.
The Minister said that Plamen has already been exporting 70% of production to the European market as well as South America.
