IMF: Public debt decrease and public sector reform - the main challenges for Serbia
At the meeting with IMF delegation, upon the fourth revision of precautious agreement, prime minister Vucic expressed he believes that by the next visit of the mission in Belgrade, the Government of Serbia will put additional efforts in order to carry out successful process of public sector rationalization the Government of Serbia announced.
Ruf said positive feedback which Serbia received from al international financial institutions are very encouraging and especially outlined that positive step is visible and that program ihas been progressing towards successful implementation.
He estimated that upcoming parliamentarian elections in Serbia should not affect reforms. Topics were also companies in restructuring, mainly the Electric Power Industry of Serbia, Zeleznice, Srbijagas and RTB Bor.
