Nowadays, when 225,000 GB of data are sent every 10 seconds all around the world, the quantity of digital content is growing bigger and more demanding for storage. Last year we learned that European companies spend unbelievable amount of money on the storage of unneeded data. Unless they solve this problem, by 2020 they will find themselves using a USD 891 billion capacity just to tackle the problem of unneeded data, the Databerg Report 2015 of the Veritas company reads.

This same report also says that about 150 companies in 14 countries in their computers keep only 14% of data relevant to their operations, 32% are unneeded or old data, while 54% of data have nothing to do with their respective businesses.

- In the time when we all use Cloud services, many organizations have no wish to possess their own data centers, while a number of them do not even own applications. In the 21st century, aside from your team, the data represent the most important and the most valuable tool you can have - says Bill Coleman, the CEO of Veritas.

This American company has recently presented itself to the press in Serbia, marking its new beginning in that way - separation from Symantec and start of its independent operations.
