The Association of Banks of Serbia (UBS) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, today signed a two year agreement which calls for support to the strengthening of Serbia's banking sector.

The agreement signed by UBS Secretary General Veroljub Dugalic and IFC Regional Manager for Western Balkans Thomas Lubek calls for the organization of training courses and workshops to facilitate risk management for the banking sector and provide banks with assistance in tackling non-performing loans and improving banking services for small and medium-sized enterprises.

By June 2017, IFC and UBS will organize a series of trainings in operational liquidity risk, non-performing loans and how to tackle them, etc.
