City of Belgrade encourages employment - Free lease of outlets for entrepreneurs, activation of IPA funds for farmers in late 2016
– Last year's results were positive, which is a challenge for this year as well. The outlets that the City of Belgrade has put up for rent three times so far and failed to find a tenant will now be leased with a grace period of two years. The reason for this lies in the fact that the first two years are the most difficult for entrepreneurs who are just starting a business, so it's been decided we should provide a kind of stimulus to them. Outlets are situated all around the city. They are earmarked for this program by the Belgrade Building Land and Development Directorate – Petronijevic underlined.
This decision is expected to be discussed by Belgrade aldermen in March.
Petronijevic also announced that IPA grants for farmers would become available in late 2016 and early 2017.
