Only a few years ago, neon lights were more remunerative choice for consumers who were looking for a replacement for standards bulbs. However, as the quality of LED bulbs improved, their prices fell and producers and traders completely turned to the second choice.

Industrial giant, General Electric, went a step further and said “goodbye” to neon light i.e. savings compact fluorescent bulbs - CFL, New York Times reports.

The company announced it will stop producing and selling these bulbs at USA by the end of the year.
