Svilajnac gets new bridge - RSD 40 million investment financed by EU

A bridge in the village of Subotica in the Svilajnac municipality, of which construction was financed by the European Union, was ceremoniously opened today by Oscar Benedict, the deputy head of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Marko Blagojevic, the director of the Serbian government's Office for Public Investment Management, and Svilajnac Mayor Predrag Milanovic.

The new RSD 40 million bridge, financed with the money from the EU Solidarity Fund, now connects two villages in the municipality of Svilajnac, as well as municipalities Svilajnac and Despotovac, while the old damaged bridge will soon be torn down.
