Compensation for women on maternity leaves even with special service contracts

Vulin said that new categories implementation which have the right for compensation will have the widest range so far.

In his commenting critiques of representatives of non-governmental sector that law does not comprise unemployed women on maternity leaves, the minister said that no one gave that right in the past 100 years, none of the countries.

According to him, the draft of the Law on financial support of families with kids, women who work as special service contractors do not have to stop working so that they would receive compensation.

New is that as of July 1, women on maternity leave will receive compensation directly, not through employer. Vulin states it is important since there will be no third parties between women on maternity leaves and the state.
