The European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE) and Opportunity Banka are expanding their partnership with a new credit line of EUR 5 million that the EFSE provided to improve the access to funds for micro and small enterprises and low-income households in rural areas in Serbia.
Opportunity Banka is a specialized microfinance bank in Serbia that strongly supports the funding of small agricultural manufacturers and micro and small enterprises which have a limited access to funding. This additional loan will particularly ensure support to small agricultural holdings and low-income households in rural areas.

President of the Executive Board of Opportunity Banka, Vladimir Vukotic, has underlined that the EFSE, a long-time partner of Opportunity Banka in the provision of key support, makes it possible for the bank to find clients having a difficult access to financial services, such as low-income households in underdeveloped areas of Serbia.
