Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said Wednesday that resolving the fate of RTB Bor was one of the major issues and that a strategic partner was needed, adding that nobody wants to acquire a stake in that company because of bad situation in the global market.
- We need a strategic partner but cannot find it, and it is not owing to the Government's mistake. No company in the world wants to invest in RTB Bor due to bad conditions in the market, low price of copper - Vucic said at the Parliament, during the discussion about the Draft Budget for 2016.
He said that copper mines were closing and miners getting sacked all around the world because the price of steel had hit a record low, and so had the prices of copper and oil.
- These are real problems we're facing - Vucic said and added that anyone who could help was welcome.
