Gazprom and Srbijagas to increase gas storage capacity of Banatski Dvor by additional 550 million cubic meters

An agreement to expand the gas storage Banatski Dvor to additional 550 million cubic meters was signed today in Moscow. In the presence of Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, the agreement was signed by Alexey Miller, the chairman of the Gazprom Managing Board, and Srbijagas General Manager Dusan Bajatovic. Aside from sharing the information that aforementioned agreement was signed, the prime minister also wrote on his Twitter account that he had talked with Gazprom CEO Mimller about possible cooperation between the countries in the energy sector and gas supply arrangement.
Srbijagas and Gazprom announced before that the gas storage capacity of Banatski Dvor would be increased from current 450 million cubic meters to 1 billion cubic meters, which would improve the stability of gas supply to Serbia.
