Vibac Balcani to start production in Jagodina on October 12

A factory of the Italian company Vibac Balcani, producing adhesive tapes of the latest technology in industrial packaging, will be opened in Jagodina on Monday, 12 October 2015.

This factory is built in the industrial zone of this city, on Corridor X, about 500 meters away from an international highway and Belgrade-Nis railroad. As Jagodina City Chairperson Dragan Markovic-Palma announced recently, it is the largest factory in Serbia and the Balkans, it would employ 400 people, and the total value of investment is EUR 70 million.

Construction of the factory commenced 18 December 2013, and it was financed with direct capital.

The Italian company plans to export EUR 150 million worth of goods from Jagodina, mainly to the countries of eastern Europe, former Soviet Union and the Pacific region. Preparation of designs and construction of this facility were entrusted to Visokogradnja inzenjering. This 60,000 sqm factory is built on an area of 12 hectares.
