Revised budget of Vojvodina adopted

Members of the Vojvodina parliament yesterday adopted the revised budget of the Province for the year 2015, in favor of which 67 MPs voted. Vojvodina PM Bojan Pajtic said that the revised budget for 2015 was increased to RSD 63.9 billion, up RSD 1.36 billion or 2.2% from the initial budget adopted in December 2014.
Pajtic noted that the funds from the revised budget would be spent on development programs in the field of agriculture, education and health care, as well as on the acquisition of rural houses for young married couples. The budget review will also make it possible to open new technology production facilities because this program allowed for a "strong development of the economy" in the previous period.
