SERTIC: Zelezara is functioning at the bottom of zero profitability

In "Zelezara Smederevo" this moment things have been developing a bit better than contracted with the management team and now we are at the bottom line of zero profitability, the minister of trade, Zeljko Sertic said.

Outlining we have agreement and monitoring MMF, the World Bank and EU, which does not allow support of the state to the steel, Sertic said that in "Zelezara" things have been going on a bit better than contracted and that now we are at the bottom of zero profitability.

According to him, "Telekom" is operating well now, do not have to sell it but to continue , we need funds for huge investments and experts with a large business network behind himself.

When asked what privatization advisor suggested for "Telekom", the minister of trade said that they are in the final stage but there is still no final sales model.

When it comes to chemical complex, the minister said "Petrohemija", MSK and "Azotara" have approximately 3.000 people and they are very for economy, GDP, export, etc.

When asked whether IMF will be satisfied when it comes to chemical complex, Sertic said that IMF wants to see our commitment to solving these issues and long-term plans within that.
