Belgrade to issue EUR 400 million bonds?
They also discussed the city's idea to consider issuing municipal bonds and Citibank's experience in that field, given that it is one of the world's largest banking and financial institutions.
Mali stressed that there were no legal obstacles to the introduction of municipal bonds as means of financing that local authorities can use to collect necessary funds for implementing certain projects or covering current budget deficit.
Mali invited the representatives of Citibank to attend the event "Belgrade Investment Days" in September, which aims to promote Belgrade as an investment destination.
