Loznica to build industrial zone worth 1.3m EUR

The first phase of construction of industrial zone in Loznica, which will be built on 85 ha near the bridge across the Drina, next to main road M-19 and corridor M-4, will be completed prior to the end of this year.
Complete industrial zone should be finished by the end of year 2008. Total of 1.3m EUR will be provided for its construction from the funds of local self-government and National Investment Plan.
American Agency for International Aid and Development (USAID) will provide professional help in construction and organization of zone through MEGA Program (Municipal Economic Growth Activity).
Representative of MEGA Program, Jovica Damljanović, said that 14 letters of intent had been sent to the local self-government with the intentions of investors for investments in Loznica's industrial zone.
