Agrokor wants to become regional hub for online trading

Agrokor has started implementing the new regional online platform A007 that should allow customers to shop for a wide range of products and services on the Internet, which is why Agrokor is now looking for experts of various profiles. In the first phase, Agrokor wants to hire 12 experts in logistics and procurements, IT development and operations, digital communications and marketing, as well as analysts and designers.

Competition for these jobs will be open until April 3rd, and people at Agrokor say that they aim to make the A007 platform a leading online shopping place in the region, tportal reports.

- Development of the A007 project commenced in 2014. It is a big regional e-commerce platform offering a wide range of products and services and various benefits, and it will be in line with the latest safety standards and completely adapted to customers' needs and habits - Agrokor officials told tportal.

About hundred experts of different profiles and from all member companies of the Agrokor group are already working on this platform, and the plan is to finish the project this autumn.

This project was announced by Ivica Todoric, the owner of Agrokor, in an interview he gave to Slovenia's Finance in February.

By the way, more than HRK 1.5 billion has been invested in information technologies within the group over the past two years, said Agrokor officials.
