How much Serbia earns from tourism? Can we do more and can we do better? What's the attitude of competent ministry about cooperation between public and private sector? Can hotel operators count on profits at all if infrastructure is underdeveloped? What should you know before paying for a travel arrangement to a tourist agency? Are flying tickets going to be cheaper and will there be new services? How do we rank on Booking and TripAdvisor websites?

You will find answers to all these questions in eKapija's new Themed Bulletin that will published February 18th under the name "Tourism in Serbia - Suitcase Packed with Challenges".

Although hit by catastrophic floods in May 2014, Serbia grossed EUR 1.1 billion from foreign tourists in the first 11 months of the previous year. The number of tourists grew 12 percent with Belgrade still topping the list of the most visited destinations. The capital city was also a place where several luxury hotels were opened last year and where famous hotel chains Hilton, Marriott and Holiday Inn plan to open their hotels soon.

The themed bulletin of eKapija will try to provide you with the information on whether the announced investments mean that our capital city lacks accommodation facilities and why foreigners see Belgrade as a destination of the future.

For this bulletin, burning topics are discussed by the highest representatives of government administration: Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Tourism Organization of Serbia, Tourism Organization of Belgrade, Congress Bureau of Serbia, HORES, YUTA, Danube Competence Center, as well as representatives of hotels, tourist agencies, insurance companies...

Learn more about the potentials and opportunities for the development of medical, ethnic and congress tourism in Serbia. You will also be able to find out where wine roads in Serbia go, how many wineries our country has, can our wine attracts tourists like French and Italian wines do...

Stay up to date! Do not miss eKapija's new Themed Bulletin!
