Domestic companies make great impact in Emirates - Good results of the First Serbian business and investment forum in UAE

At the First Serbian business and investment forum in UAE which has just finished and which was organized by the Serbian business council, Serbian companies and business organizations presented themselves very successfully to high officials, management of the Federation of chamber of commerce’s UAE and their members, the Serbian business council announced.

Thus, specific direct cooperation of Serbian and UAE businessmen started. At the same time, Serbian delegation had the opportunity to meet the method and terms of business in UAE.

In order to present to potential UAE investors our culture, tradition, natural treasures and customs, the Tourist organization of Serbia, during the visit of the delegation to five cities in Emirates organized extremely well-visited video presentations. Tamara Raskovic, an advisor to TOS for UAE market, presented rich offer of Serbia focusing on natural beauties, spa and health tourism for which the interest of forum partciants was the greatest.

The visit resulted in preliminary talks of TOS with representatives of tourist organizations UAE which are very interested in listing Serbia in their tourist program offer.

At the forum, programs of the Glob Metropolitan Tours agency, adapted to UAE guests as well as the Atomska banja in Gornja Trepca known for treatment of rheumatic and neurological diseases as well as for its uniqueness as the only spa helping the ones suffering multiple sclerosis were presented.

- We are very satisfied with reaction of the host and results of the first official visit. In order to continue cooperation, VIP fund is planning to generate as many projects as possible in different sectors adapted to current market since the method of negotiating and business in our two countries differ a lot. In May 2015, we expect feedback of businessmen from UAE who attend the International agricultural fair in Novi Sad, so we are sure that we will soon have the chance to specify some of the current talks - Olivera Kovacevic said.

During five days of the forum, participants had the chance to present to guests projects from Cacak, Vojvodina Metal Cluster and Agroprodukt from Becej. Extreme Intimo, Zlatiborac, Peštan, FSD, Bexel Consulting, Dima Company, FSD presented themselves to UAE successfully, it was announced. .

Forum was held in five Emirates and it was supported by the Embassy of Serbia in Abu Dhabi and the Federation of Chambers of Commerce UAE.

The Serbian business council was set up in January 2014 in Abu Dhabi with the support of the Embassy of Serbia in UAE with the basic objective to create and improve business opportunities and investments between these two countries.
