Company "DaimlerChrysler" , as Danijel Begović stated at conference "Renewable fuels – path towards energy independence" follows the strategy whose motto is: "Our PATH towards SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY" of Dr. Herbert Koler, the Head of "Mercedes-Benz’s" innovative bureau for ecology.

This strategy relates to long-term plan for all development goals that can be achieved today, tomorrow, and in the close future, with gradual realization of every set goal on the way of “sustainable mobility”.

Sustainable mobility represents both ecological and economic sustainable concept of fuels for transportation, which must satisfy all preconditions of reduction of ecological consequences of fossil fuels combustion and technological investments in cutting of expenses of production and sale of renewable fuels, through increase in level of efficiency.

The strategy supports investments in technology of renewable fuels of the first and the second generation, such as Ethanol, Bio-diesel and Fuel Cell units, with short-term aim of reduction and long-term aim of complete elimination of emission of CO2 and mass use of renewable fuels.
