Italian Rigoni di Asiago wants to invest in organic fruit in Serbia
At the meeting between the minister of agriculture and environmental protection, Snezana Bogosavljevic-Boskovic and the ambassador of Italy in Belgrade, Giuseppe Mance, mutual readiness was shown to help further implementation of the announced investments of Italian Rigoni di Asiago in planting fruit plantaions of organic production in east and southeast Europe.
During the talks attended by the first secretary of the Italian embassy, Mark Leone, it was agreed that soon a meeting with representatives of Rigoni di Asiago should be organized for further activities and deadlines for investment implementation.
Rigoni di Asiago is one of the biggest companies in Europe which operates in organic production.
At yesterday’s meeting, as the ministry announced, current bilateral cooperation between the two countries was estimated positively and they considered the options on future investments by Italian partners.
