Activities on the realization of the “Eastern Bypass Route” began back in the 1980s with the preparation of the Spatial Development Requirements, according to which the expropriation of parcels began, as well as the preparation of the technical documentation for the main project “Eastern Main Road”, 8.6 km long, prepared by the Belgrade Road Institute.

Since then, the undeveloped parcels have been waiting to be paved and the citizens of Krusevac have been waiting for the transit and cargo traffic to be moved out of the urban zone.

The Detailed Regulation Plan of a part of the “Eastern Bypass Route”, Kneza Milosa Street – Mudrakovac Bridge in Krusevac, has now been put up for public inspection.

The planned profile of the traffic route consists of two driving lanes, 8.0 meters wide each (two driving lanes 4.0 meters wide in each direction), with a dividing strip 3.0 meters wide and sidewalks on both sides, 3.0 meters wide.
