The second phase of the first metro line reaches the stage of examination of geotechnical conditions for its construction
As stated in the tender documentation, the preparation of the Elaborate on the engineering-geological-geotechnical conditions of the construction of the second phase of Line 1, examining the condition and properties of the terrain and rock masses, is underway. The task of the geotechnical project report is to define the geotechnical impacts on the infrastructural facilities of the metro and to make recommendations for design and construction, as well as for the purposes of developing the Conceptual Project of the second phase of Line 1.
Overall, the second phase of Line 1, extending from Karaburma station to Mirijevo, will have five stations, three ventilation and evacuation shafts and a facility for accommodation of Line 2 rolling stock at Mirijevo.
