The construction of bypass around Zlatibor has started

The construction of a 9.5-kilometer bypass has begun at Zlatibor,. It will speed up traffic coming in from Montenegro to Visegrad or Bajina Basta, and relocate transit vehicles away from the tourist center. The works are financed by the PE Roads of Serbia, and they are entrusted to domestic contractors - the PE Roads of Uzice. Some of the builders who once participated in the construction of the first modern roads in the country, are also present on this construction site.

Construction at Zlatibor does not only go upwards - a fact for which it is often criticized - the new road will open up space not far from the tourist center, where along with the bypass, a sports complex will be constructed, together with twenty sports fields.

- The funds were provided by the Government of the Republic of Serbia. The municipality invests in infrastructure and solves property relations, so I hope that Zlatibor will soon become the number one sports tourist destination in Serbia - the president of the municipality of Cajetina, Milan Stamatovic, pointed out.
