Nis Airport to Expand Terminal Platform – Tender for Technical Documentation Opens
According to the tendering documentation, the expansion of the platform is required in order to secure additional space for the parking and handling of the largest aircraft, in line with the declared purposes of the airport.
The expansion of the platform should provide the space that will enable the handling of the largest aircraft (code letter E), both the contemporary ones and those in the foreseeable future.
– The technical documentation should cover the apron taxiway, the parking positions for the aircraft, the access zones of the tow-tractors and the service route for the vehicles and the equipment for the handling of aircraft. Along the service route, parking spaces should be planned for the equipment for the handling of aircraft – the documentation says.
The apron taxiway, it is added, should be designed so that it has the characteristics necessary for the handling of E-type aircraft. From the aspect of the minimum safety separation of the aircraft from the barriers, it should be treated as an apron taxiway of the “Aircraft Stand Taxiline” type.
The documentation says that a position with a jet bridge relative to the development of the terminal building is planned as well.
Bids may be submitted by January 26.
