EU to support micro and small enterprises in Serbia with EUR 2.5 million

The City Administration of Prokuplje today invited local enterprises to apply for the amount of EUR 2.5 million provided by the European Union to micro and small production enterprises in Serbia. The funds are meant for the purchase of equipment and implementation of services, with the aim of upgrading the production and increasing the employment rate in Serbia. The public invitation for the allocation of grants from the EU funds is open until November 10.

– Through the PRO program, in cooperation with the Government of Serbia, the EU is helping entrepreneurs, micro and small enterprises, in procuring equipment or implementing new production technologies – stated the manager of the program, Olivera Kostic.

She said that it was the way of increasing the productivity, upgrading the quality and developing new production technologies in order to be more competitive in the market.
