Credit Agricole and KfW provide EUR 20 million for development of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources

Credit Agricole Serbia has signed an agreement with KfW, the German development bank, which operates within the country’s finance ministry, worth a total of EUR 20 million, on the financing of projects of the development of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.

In line with the global strategy of Credit Agricole Group and the postulates of corporate responsibility, which give priority to environmental protection, through this arrangement with KfW, Credit Agricole Serbia provides favorable crediting conditions in all segments related to increasing energy efficiency and developing RES, such as: energy efficient heating and cooling systems, energy efficient lighting, rolling stocks and machines with a reduced emission of CO2.

Through this credit line, retail clients, as well as small and medium enterprises, will also be able to use 10% of grants and the entirely free help of technical consultants who evaluate the feasibility and the cost-effectiveness of a project.

Part of the proceeds from this financial arrangement will also be available for the crediting of agriculture. Clients will be able to apply for investments credits in dinars or indexed in euros with a repayment period of up to 7 years and a grace period of up to three years.
