The European Investment Bank (EIB) and
ProCredit Bank signed an agreement on a new credit line, worth EUR 30 million in June 7, 2017, in Frankfurt. The line is meant for providing further financial support to small and medium companies in Serbia.
This important agreement was signed by Mateo Rivellini, Head of EIB Division for Slovenia, Croatia and the Western Balkans, and Igor Anic, board member at ProCredit Bank Serbia.
As reported by the bank, the funds from the credit line will be approved to ProCredit Bank clients active in production, commerce and provision of services, whose operations adhere to ethical, social and ecological standards of ProCredit Bank.
Igor Anic, board member at ProCredit Bank, pointed out the importance of this agreement and the new credit line for small and medium enterprises in Serbia.
– This is a good opportunity for all businessmen in Serbia. By signing the new agreement, both the EIB and our bank have confirmed their dedication to the same values and principles, as well as our resolve towards continuing our successful cooperation. Furthermore, this agreement confirms our joint dedication to further enhancement of the business environment and the creation of conditions for new employments in Serbia – Anic explained.
