Most boring movies of all time

The South Korean company Samsung has come up with an unusual ad campaign for its new washing machine – a feature film consisting of a continuous 66-minute shot of a wash cycle, with music by the Oscar-winning composer Michael Nyman.

As part of the campaign, Samsung commissioned a survey of the most boring movies of all time, within which a panel of renowned British film critics came up with a shortlist which was then put to vote among a sample of adult UK citizens.

50 Shades of Grey leads with 34% of the vote, followed by Blair Witch Project, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Brokeback Mountain and Transformers.
