New hotel in Banja Koviljača - suite complex to be opened prior to mid-April

In Banja Koviljača's center, in the location of former department store, a new hotel of high category with four stars and 220 beds is being built.

The works that will be carried out in two phases started more than one year ago, and the plan is that the suite complex with 46 suites and 146 beds be opened prior to mid-April.

The second phase of the works, which includes construction of 38 hotel rooms with the reception desk, restaurant, wellness center, two congress halls and other accompanying contents, is expected to be finished in 2011.

The investment is worth about 4m EUR and, according to the words of the hotel owner, Dragoslav Nikolić, major part of the funds has been provided from the Development Fund of the Republic of Serbia.

Nikolić said to the press that, according to the current estimates, 60 people of various professions should be hired to work in the hotel.

In addition to the Special Hospital for Rehabilitation, which has 416 beds, there are also hotel Podrinje with 240 beds and holiday hostel Gučevo with 216 beds in Banja Koviljača, and both of them are part of hotel-tourist company Banja Koviljača.
