The entire set of measures of the pro-natality policy, announced by the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, will be known by the end of January, and the state, in addition to considerably increasing the child support, will provide non-repayable crediting to young couples of at least EUR 20,000, said the minister for families and demographics of Serbia, Ratko Dmitrovic.

– We are still considering what else the package could contain, offering more to the couples who want to found families and have more children, Dmitrovic stated, as reported on the ministry’s website.

He commented on the statement made by Vucic, who announced that the child support for the first child of RSD 100,000 would be increased to RSD 300,000, saying that there would certainly be an increase for the second and third children as well, but that the amounts are not specified.

When it comes to the incentive for the housing of young married couples, the state, according to the minister, will most likely participate with EUR 20,000 for each family.

– This measure will be related to women, that is, the woman will be the carrier of the right of ownership, so as to avoid misuse – Dmitrovic said.
