POWERCHINA interested in building Vozd Karadjordje highway - Continuation of construction of Belgrade bypass to Banat also planned
The State Secretary from the ministry, Miodrag Poledica, said that they had excellent cooperation with this company on the construction of the Belgrade bypass, from the Sava bridge near Ostruznica to Bubanj potok.
– We are planning new projects which will represent new opportunities for further cooperation including the continuation of building the Bubanj potok – Vinca – Pancevo section of the Belgrade bypass, Poledica said.
He assessed the project as one of great importance for our country and its capital having in mind that from 17,000 to 18, 000 cars use this bypass every day and its completion will speed up traffic, especially when it comes to cargo transport.
The vice-president of POWERCHINA, Xiong Lixin, said that the company will adhere to contractual obligations and would do its best to make the bypass an example of a successful project.
He added that POWERCHINA was also interested in other projects in Serbia, including the building of the Sumadija corridor, Vozd Karadjordje, the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure stated.
