Minister of Health Zlatibor Loncar said that an investor was found that would invest EUR 40 million in the Institute of Virology, Vaccines and Sera Torlak, so that it would remain a Serbian institute.

However, he didn’t disclose the name of the investor.

– It’s taken us a little under a year to find somebody who would invest so that Torlak would remain Serbia, to stay here produce our, local vaccines. We have found an investor who would invest EUR 40 million and who agrees with our vision of Torlak – Loncar said for RTS.

He pointed out that it was good that “those who invest in it have their own market”.

However, when asked who the partner in Torlak will be, Loncar said that “the investor does not want their name to be revealed”.
