According to the draft 2023 Budget Law, their infrastructural endeavors are planned in the amount of RSD 200 billion. Most money, a fourth of that amount, should be put into the construction of the Pojate-Preljina section of the Morava Corridor. This is a sum of RSD 50.6 billion. The state budget plans to spend around RSD 427 billion on all capital projects.

The second most expensive plan of the Ministry of Transport is the reconstruction of the Hungarian-Serbian railway. Next year, RSD 25 billion should be invested in the extension of the fast railway next year. The continuation of the works on the Milos Veliki highway should take around RSD 19.3 billion. This is the Preljina-Pozega section.

For the construction of the Sabac-Loznica traffic route, the authorities set aside RSD 13.3 billion. Nearly as much was set aside for the Project of the construction of the utility sewer infrastructure and the infrastructure for the disposal of solid municipal waste in Serbia.

The construction of the Belgrade bypass route from the bridge on the Sava near Ostruznica to Bubanj Potok, which encompasses sectors 4, 5 and 6, will cost RSD 11.2 billion next year. The plan of the Ministry of Transport also includes the Novi Sad-Ruma fast route, with RSD 10.6 billion earmarked for it. The fast route from the Pozarevac interchange to Golubac will be done up to the amount of RSD 9.3 billion. The project of the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway is continuing as well. Next year, slightly under RSD 9 billion will be invested in this project.

Money for new Sava bridge too

The list of capital traffic and infrastructure projects is quite long. There’s the construction of the fast route from Iverak to Lajkovac. RSD 5.4 billion is planned for it. The construction of the new bridge on the Sava in Belgrade will cost the budget RSD 4.4 billion next year. A nearly identical amount is also planned for the reconstruction of the Nis-Dimitrovgrad railway.
